Unit 3 Portfolio - Advances in Industrial Revolution
The Industrial Revolution brought great changes to Utah as well as a global shift in culture. For this portfolio, you will create a PowerPoint or Google Slides presentation focused on seven technologies that were developed during the Industrial Revolution.
Step 1: Research

Identify 7 technologies that were developed during the Industrial Revolution.

A minimum of three facts about each technology.

Select visuals to represent each technology you choose. One image per technology.

You must use a minimum of 2 resources when conducting you research. Make sure to record the site or book you used when conducting your research. WIKIPEDIA does not count. Step 2 – Create Presentation.
After you complete your research, create your presentation. You can create this using either PowerPoint or Google Slides. Below is a list of the information that each slide must contain. Please remember to proof read before you submit.

Step 3- Submit your presentation

Rubric: review the 6 categories of the rubric and how your portfolio will be scored.
Rubric Score: 1= 6 pts 3= 18 pts 5= 27 pts. (extra credit)
2= 12 pts 4= 25 pts 6= 30 pts. (extra credit)
● Connectability: Presentation includes 7 technologies that were invented during the Industrial Revolution.
● Evidence/Details: Each technology includes an image & 3 accurate facts
● Introduction & Conclusion: Title slide contains an introduction to the Industrial Revolution.
● Organization: Presentation is well constructed and easy to follow. Presentation contains 9 slides
● Audience: Technologies are well researched & included a minimum of 2 citations.
● Conventions: Presentation had no basic spelling, grammatical, & punctuation errors that impeded readability or understanding.
